Billy's Bees

I opened the hive today to check on the Queen, her cage was empty. The bees have been busy building comb. The bees have started building comb on about 1/3 of the center two frames. Both the front and back sides. I removed the empty queen cage and slid the frames together replacing the 10th fame on the back side of the hive. I will wait at a week to 10 days before I open the hive again. Tomorrow I will check the sticky pad at the bottom of the hive for mites.
